Park Day

We met Nala, a 12 week old Leonberger puppy that will be Carter's companion dog. She is so sweet. Above is a web photo of what she may look like full grown.

We went to Mission Hills Park today with Henderson homeschool group. The day was gorgeous! Roman had a great time with his friend Carter and they even found a toad in a pipe. I was able to get a photo of it!

Trisha climbed trees with Conner and some new friends and Gino and Gabriel also played right along with them. The whole group was amazed at the metal detector and the gentleman was nice enough to let the group tag along. What a great time for all!

More Easter

What a great day! The Easter Bunny really filled the baskets this year! All the kids enjoyed their new books. Trisha finished hers today (Monday) and loved it. The children also received Easter money from Abu and Aby- they bought DS games and played them together. Papa filled an Easter basket FULL of treats. I have a video somewhere of their excitement. We had a great Easter weekend. Springtime in Vegas is actually quite lovely.

Gino was quite excited!

Gino tested and PASSED his YELLOW belt test in Tae Kwon Do!!

Gino had just broken the board with a step to the rear side kick!
Happy brother congratulating Gino!

Roman SCORES!

It figures, the only day I don't bring my camera, Roman scored in waterpolo! It was a beautiful shot to the lower right corner- awesome!!!! Way to go Roman!!

Water polo continues....

Roman is really enjoying water polo. It's hard to take good pictures in there. The bleachers are far away and my zoom isn't as zoomy as I want it to be. He's still smiling!!

Bird Viewing Preserve

We started a 4 week class at the Bird Preserve. The instructor is wonderful and the children enjoyed seeing the birds- especially since they were allowed to use the "good" binoculars. Two other friends joined us and made the day even more fun. We go again on Monday.
